Often referred to as 'opaque watercolour’, gouache is ideal for mixed media as well as traditional techniques. The colour intensive Aquafine Gouache paints can be applied directly from the tube or diluted with water - enabling almost all painting techniques from very opaque when applied pure to watercolours. After drying, Daler-Rowney Aquafine Gouache colours can be redissolved with water. For subsequent image correction, dry areas of colours can easily be painted over.
